16 Baby Animal Coloring Pages
Baby animals have some of the cutest names around. A baby deer is a fawn, a baby giraffe is a calf, a young bear is a cub and a baby chicken is a chick. Many newborn animals are up and walking within hours. A giraffe calf can stand about an hour after birth, even though it starts life by dropping about six feet to the ground. This collection gathers little ones from farms, forests and grasslands. A bear cub waves, a bunny sits, a chick stands tall, a fawn and a baby giraffe stand on wobbly legs, a kitten plays with yarn, a lion cub bats a ball and a baby monkey holds a banana. A baby elephant holds a balloon, and a group page brings several friends together. These pages are great for practicing animal names with toddlers. Ask what each baby is called, then what the grown-up is called. Big shapes and thick lines make this set easy for preschoolers.
