19 Goldfish Coloring Pages
Goldfish were first bred in China more than 1,000 years ago from a wild carp, and people slowly developed fancy varieties with flowing tails, bubble eyes and round bodies. With good care a goldfish can live 10 to 20 years, and some have lived much longer. They also need more room than a tiny bowl, since they grow bigger than many people expect. This collection shows goldfish swimming in all directions. One glides past seaweed, another floats over a rock, one curls its body in a tight turn and one studies a pebble. There are front and three-quarter views, a calm goldfish, a classic fish in a bowl and simple cartoon fish for toddlers. Goldfish are not only gold. They can be orange, red, white, black, calico and mixed patterns, so kids have lots of realistic choices. Light blue water with a few bubbles and green plants makes a calm tank, and a little white streak on each scale adds shimmer.
