16 Pig Coloring Pages

Pigs are among the smartest animals on the farm. They can learn their names, solve simple puzzles and even play basic video games with a joystick in research studies. Pigs roll in mud because they have very few sweat glands, and the mud keeps them cool and protects their skin from sunburn and bugs. This collection shows pigs in farm scenes. A pig rests in the mud, jumps, lies down, stands by a tree, wanders through tall grass and sits on a rock. A happy smiling pig, a cute pig and a cute baby pig are perfect for little kids. Many farm pigs are pink, but pigs can also be black, brown, red, spotted or belted with a white band. Pink with a darker pink snout and ears is classic, and brown mud splotches add realism. A red barn and green grass complete the farm. These pages suit farm units, nursery rhymes like This Little Piggy and stories such as Charlotte's Web.
