20 Farm Coloring Pages

A working farm is full of animals with different jobs. Hens lay eggs, cows give milk, sheep grow wool, and donkeys have carried loads for people for thousands of years. Geese were even used as noisy watchdogs. This mixed barnyard lets kids meet the whole crew. A chick pokes out of a tall egg shell, a hen sits on a stacked nest, and a chicken struts on its own. A cow wears a flower wreath, a donkey faces forward, a goat balances on a hay bale and a goose stands at attention. There is a duck holding an umbrella, a horse with a carrot, and a group page with several farm friends together. Coloring farm animals is a natural way to practice animal sounds with toddlers: color the cow and moo, color the duck and quack. Older kids can talk about what each animal gives a farm. Earthy browns, barn red and grassy greens make a cozy setting, while the chicks and ducks look sunny in yellow.
