14 Diamond Coloring Pages

Diamonds are the hardest natural material on Earth, made of pure carbon that formed under intense heat and pressure deep underground over a billion years ago. Because they are so hard, diamonds are used in drills and saws as well as jewelry. Gem cutters shape diamonds with flat faces called facets that bounce light around inside, making them sparkle. The largest gem diamond ever found, the Cullinan, weighed over 3,100 carats. This set features diamond shapes and cuts. There is a cushion cut with a deep bottom, a stack of two round brilliants, an emerald cut, a hexagon crystal, a kite cut, a pear-shaped pendant on a chain and a pear teardrop gem. A cute diamond and a diamond character suit toddlers. The facets make great practice for coloring in sections. Pale blue, light gray and white create a classic clear diamond, while pink, yellow and blue diamonds are real too. Leaving a few facets white gives a shiny sparkle effect.
From gem friend to cut stone
Cute Diamond Character is the easy sheet, with big triangle facets, a friendly face and little feet for ages 4 to 7. Cute Diamond is a realistic side view gem with a flat top and many narrow facets, a medium page for kids around 6 to 9. Coloring the facets in alternating light and dark shades makes both gems look like they catch the light.
Rings, sparkles and a treasure hunt
Diamond Ring shows a round stone from above, covered in a web of tiny triangles and held by four prongs. Sparkling Diamond places a gem in the middle of fourteen star twinkles. After coloring, cut out the diamonds, hide them around the house and give kids a treasure map with clues so they can hunt for the missing jewels one room at a time.
