16 Heart Templates

Heart templates are useful all year: for Valentine's Day cards, kindness projects, classroom displays and simple shape practice. The heart shape has been linked to love since the Middle Ages, and it is one of the first shapes many kids learn to draw. This set of 16 templates offers lots of styles. There is a heart balloon with stripes, a heart with a bow, dots and stripes, a heart on a flower stem, a tower of four hearts, a hanging heart garland, a heart lollipop with a swirl and a heart filled with mini hearts. A cute heart and a fun heart are simple enough for toddlers. Print on cardstock, color and cut out the hearts to make cards, garlands or a kindness wall where kids write nice notes to classmates. Reds, pinks and purples are classic, but rainbow, pastel or patterned hearts look great too. The garland template can be strung across a window or doorway.
