13 Rhino Coloring Pages

There are five species of rhinoceros: the white and black rhinos of Africa and the greater one-horned, Javan and Sumatran rhinos of Asia. Despite their names, white and black rhinos are both gray. Rhino horns are made of keratin, the same material as hair and fingernails, and their thick skin can still get sunburned, which is why rhinos love wallowing in mud. This set mixes realistic and playful rhinos. A rhino roams the savanna, a realistic rhino faces you head on, and a bird rides on another rhino's horn, a nod to the oxpecker birds that ride rhinos and eat ticks. Silly pages show rhinos holding a flower, hugging a beach ball, carrying balloons, eating an ice cream cone and stacking pancakes, while one sips from a mug in a winter hat. There is a mandala rhino head, a baby rhino and two cute versions too. Shades of gray with a little brown for mud look natural, and wrinkle lines on the skin add texture.
