16 Seahorse Coloring Pages

Seahorses are fish, even though they look nothing like most fish. Instead of scales, they have bony plates under their skin, and they swim upright, steering with a small fin on their backs. They wrap their curly tails around seagrass and coral to hold still. Most amazing of all, the father seahorse carries the eggs in a pouch and gives birth to the babies. This collection celebrates these unusual fish. A seahorse dad swims with his babies, one wears a crown among bubbles, and others hold a seashell, hug a heart and hug a starfish. One silly page dresses a seahorse in a knit beanie and scarf. A baby seahorse and two cute seahorse pages suit preschoolers. Seahorses come in yellow, orange, red, brown, gray and even purple, and many can change color to blend in. The ridged segments along the body are fun to color in bands. Green seagrass, coral and bubbles complete the ocean scene.
