21 Shark Coloring Pages

Sharks have been swimming in the oceans for more than 400 million years, longer than trees have existed. There are over 500 species, from the dwarf lanternshark that could fit in your hand to the whale shark, the largest fish in the sea, which eats tiny plankton. Shark skin is covered in small tooth-like scales called denticles that make it feel like sandpaper. This set keeps sharks friendly. A chubby shark waves a fin, a round shark smiles, one curls up, one leaps and another looks up from the water. Sharks swim by seaweed and rocks, glide through a kelp forest, meet a fish and munch a cookie. There is a front view, a grinning face, an easy shark, a cute shark and a baby shark for toddlers. Most sharks are gray or blue-gray on top and white underneath, but whale sharks have white spots and stripes, and tiger sharks have dark stripes when young. Blue and green water around them completes the scene.
