9 Mother's Day Coloring Pages

Mother's Day in the United States is the second Sunday in May, thanks to Anna Jarvis, who campaigned for a day to honor mothers after her own mother died. Many other countries celebrate on different dates, such as Mothering Sunday in the United Kingdom. These pages are made for kids who want to create something special. There is a card design ready to color and fold, a bouquet in a vase, a stack of hearts, a heart and flowers marked for mom, a tulip in a pot and a cone of roses. A kangaroo mother carrying her joey in her pouch adds an animal twist, and a cute character page gives little ones an easy option. Finished pages make thoughtful gifts on their own. Kids can sign their names, add a short note about why they love their mom or caregiver, and roll the page with a ribbon. Grandmothers, aunts and other special adults will love one too. Bright spring colors suit the flowers, and the hearts invite pinks, reds and purples.
